By plane

Andaman’s airport is at Port Blair. it's connected to Chennai, Kolkata and lots of different cities within the country. Jet and Air India are the most important flights operators for Andaman. throughout the tour seasons discounted airfares also are provided by the airlines. the price of the tickets is usually cheap, particularly if reserved earlier.

By sea

It is possible to take a ship----
  from KOLKATA  (~60hrs), CHENNAI or VISHAKHAPATNAM which takes almost 4 days to arrive in Port Blair. It is less expensive. Facilities are basic, though and many prefer to sleep on the deck rather than in the cramped bunks. The ferries can take up to five days to arrive depending on weather and various other variables.

HAVELOCK ISLAND

Havelock Island is situated 57km north of Port Blair
This Island is named after a British general Henry Havelock who served India
Majority population is Bengali Settlers
Radha Nagar beach is one of the most popular beach in the Island and it has been named the best beach of Asia by time in 2004
One can go Snorkelling at Elephant beach
The Island has lots of resorts catering to the tourist 

NEIL ISLAND

The Island is located 40km north east of Port Blair
There are handful of restaurants & basic beach hotels on this Island
There are regular government ferry from Port Blair to Neil Island usual timings are 6.30 am to 11.00 am
One can explore the island on a bicycle also
One  can also find Mangroves over here 

PORT BLAIR

It is the capital of Andaman & Nicobar Islands
It is home to several museums and a major naval base INS Jarawa of the Indian Navy
The airport at Port Blair is named as veer savarkar international airport
7kms from Port Blair is Corbyn’s cove ideal spot for sunbathing and water sports 

ISLAND HOPPING

Neil Island of Havelock and Ross Island off Port Blair are pleasant half day trips in local ferries.
Meander around the beaches of Neil Island and try to catch the sunrise or sunset or explore the Naval Museum, Cemetery and ruins of old buildings on Ross Island
