The Goan reunion

REUNIOIN 2019

A sojourn , a destination, a spirit ... Yes Iam talking about my Goan reunion.
Oh , Boy ! How excited we were. Goa is indeed the ideal place in India for a school reunion. So the tickets were booked well in advance to avoid any hassle. Now came the question for booking the property, finally after much discussion a villa was booked for 3 days and 2 nights from November 23 to 25. Most of us preferred to stay In a villa rather than staying in a hotel. I must say we all made an excellent choice.

ON THE WAY

The D day finally arrived .. it was 22 November 2018, I was suppose to leave for Mumbai. Oh ya Instead of flying directly to Goa we planned to break the journey for more fun... 3 of my friends were flying with me from Delhi and 2 were going to meet in Mumbai. From Mumbai we were suppose to catch an overnight train to Goa. The best part was that only 2 tickets were confirmed and we were 5 in number.

It was a captivating experience to meet my buddies after almost 22 years.we finally boarded the train and requested the TT to offer us seats .. now we had 4 seats and we were five. One of our friend showed real friendship and offered to sleep on the train floor , which we all readily agreed.( Har ek friend kameena hota hai).. we loved his sacrifice .
Those were the moments of unlimited laughter, fun, pranks n never ending conversation. A night to remember" Bombay to Goa".

A TRAIN JOURNEY TO REMEMBER

Madgaon was our destination .. the train was 1 hr late from it's scheduled time. At madgaon we hired a cab to reach candolim beach. Friends from Bangalore already reached the villa at candolim in the morning and were waiting for the naughty lot. The weather was humid and beer was in our mind to quench our thirst. It was an awesome experience of enjoying beer at 10 in the morning while on the way to candolim.## Zindagi na milegie doobara# hulla... Wokka wokka #
And we reached, it was so good to see old faces . We all were thrilled and overwhelmed.

The villa was beautiful .. wooden staircase,

vintage living room n bedrooms, classy bathrooms and above all a sexy bar counter. After chit chatting and taking a little rest we headed to the beach to celebrate  birthdays of our two companions. I am a true oceanholic so the moment I saw water I couldn't resist. The birthday was a special one .. spontaneously planned by our guru Santosh .

Wine, cake, scrumptious sea food , beach side and childhood buddies what a deadly combination for a birthday party. We truly had a ball. after soaking ourselves in sun kissed water we returned to the villa and headed straight to the liquor store. The party was on and all were ready to shake their booty's . we danced , sang , drank and off course shared our schooldays stories.

BIRTHDAY AT THE BEACH

As Iam an early riser and never wanted to miss the rising sun ..so I woke up early and along with my friends went for sea walk. I loved the smell of water, sand and mist.The sea was calm and quiet . It was serene.

After rounds of homemade tea by mona we went for breakfast. It was time now to hire some bikes and head towards Anjuna beach. Another great time on the bikes .. enjoying the scenic beauty and inhailing oxygen. well Anjuna was so crowded and none of us enjoyed their. so came back pretty soon and some went to candolim beach while some preferred staying in the room. I was on the beach with my few friends. by evening we all decided to head towards the nightclub to experience the nightlife of Goa. what to say !!! it was awesome. Tittos was happening .. the music , the crowd and above all us. Dancing on the retro beats was fantabulous. we all came to our cottage safely and slept tightly.
