souls travel together

We discussed, we planned  and we executed our maiden long distance travel to Panjim . so it was all decided that we are going to delight ourselves with a train journey from New Delhi to Madgaon .I started counting the days when I'll be with my soul on a sojourn that was going to be captured in my mind and thoughts forever and ever.
I still remember the date 24 Jan '05 , we were suppose to catch the Rajdhani express from New Delhi . Trains always fascinated me since childhood . Many train memories are still crisp in my mind, especially when the whole family travelled together for summer holidays. From playing cards, ludo and antakshari to eating snacks at different railway stations all reminds me of the happy and content life we use to live

our adventure began at Rajdhani Express one of the finest trains of India. I never expected that travelling with a soul friend can leave a deep impact in my life. Our talks were never ending. Maybe coz we liked each other a lot and had the passion for traveling . We settled and made ourselves comfortable. It was midnight now,  the train was going at its full speed but the two chirpy birds were still awake and looking out of the train as the train was about to cross the  tunnels. We enjoyed each and every moment of this beautiful journey. The food was fantastic and so were the fellow travelers. The morning sunlight peeping through the dark coloured window curtains woke me up. Green meadows and pastures looked so alluring ,I felt like jumping off the train . We lived the moment as the train moved towards the picturesque western ghats which is a UNESCO world Heritage site. Our destination was near but we never wanted to get off the train . Soul talk with soul traveller continued.....

A day at Landour

lal tibba a view to capture snow -capped mountains Breathtaking , it was , the snow-capped mountains, picturesque surrounding I could feel love in the air. Though I have been to Mussorie many times but this part of heaven remained unexplored. Landour, which was a Cantonment town in British India was named after a village called Llanddowror in south-west Wales. Lost in the mists of Himalayas, draped in the scarlet red color of rhododendrons & thick deodars, Landour reminds you of the British Raj. A 5-kilometer steep drive or walk from the crowded bazaars of Mussoorie, it’s a different world of peace and lush views. Landour should be on every mountain lover bucket list. This beautiful town is the home of famous writer " Ruskin Bond". A mystic view The “Europeans” made a point of preventing Indians (even the royal families) from building in Landour, and so there is not a single residence of an Indian prince in Landour, which can only be found in Muss...
