Backpacking is a low cost independent travel where you carry the backpacks on your back which is well equipped with the things needed for traveling. Backpackers generally use public transport and stay in youth hostels or tents. Backpacking is considered to be a wilderness adventure. The best part about backpacking is that you make your own rules, but you need to hit a few checkpoint first. You need to pick the country where you are going to visit and how you are going there.
Backpacking offers a richer,more rewarding appreciation of natural beauty.

backpacking with kids is an eye opening experience 

As a child I have traveled a lot by train and  always use to see many foreign tourist carrying heavy backpacks on their back. There was always a curiosity to know why do they carry so much weight? what is the fun? why do these tourist travel in large groups? Yes! I was fascinated by these backpacks and the big cameras hanging around the neck of backpackers.
With passage of time the curiosity to know the world like a backpacker turned into a passion.
I started travelling like backpackers , though the journey was small but was interesting. Backpacking brings the real joy in you . It gives you the real picture of the world as you are not a tourist but a traveler. Slowly and gradually Backpacking is becoming famous among Indians too. In fact backpacking is the latest trend in Traveling

Tips for a successful backpacking adventure:

Pack light
camp out
Get a hostel with a kitchen
Bring your own snacks
Travel in groups
walk , don't take a cab
Avoid Tourist Traps
