Indian the land of yoga , dharma and culture .Long-favoured by the impecunious, India has become more expensive – but, mostly, it’s still amazingly cheap.

Vietnam has a plethora of festivals based on the lunar calendar, the most important being the New Year celebration.
You could get by for less than US$10 a day in Vietnam and still eat like a king – it’s street-food heaven

PORTUGAL
It is the westernmost country of mainland Europe. To the west and south it is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and to the east and north by Spain.
Portugal is liberating. There are cute casas and converted farmhouses oozing charm for under US$100 a night, too.

INDONESIA
Since the country is very large, Indonesia is divided into three time zones:
GMT +7: Western Indonesian Time
GMT +8: Central Indonesian Time
GMT +9: Eastern Indonesian Time
Numbers are high, costs are low in Indonesia. Rooms might start from a startling-sounding 350,000 rupiah – but that’s only US$25.
